Crossbones
Crossbones is a fictional character, a supervillain in the Marvel Comics universe. He was created by writer Mark Gruenwald and artist Kieron Dwyer in Captain America #359-360. Crossbones usually appears as a henchman of the Red Skull. He carried out the assassination of Captain America, although Sharon Carter, who was under hypnosis at the time, is believed to have fired the fatal shots.
