Heartache
Hey Mister Heartache is the first single from Close, the 1988 album by British singer Kim Wilde. Although only a minor hit in Wilde's native UK, it was a Top 20 success throughout Europe and marked the beginning of a very successful year for the star — during which she would have a best-selling album, several more successful singles and support Michael Jackson on the European leg of his tour. "Hey Mister Heartache" featured vocals by Junior Giscombe, with whom Wilde had duetted on the Another Step (Closer to You) hit the previous year). However, this part of the song was edited down for the single version. The song was also extended for the 12" and CD-single formats, and a second 12" featuring the "Kilo Watt Remix" by Timmy Regisford was also released in the UK.
