Stubble
Stubble is a short growth of the male beard that was popular in the 1980s. A style of male facial hair called, "designer stubble" became popular in the 1980s. This style was worn by singer George Michael and actor Don Johnson. Several companies manufactured beard trimmer designed to maintain designer stubble. This style of facial hair was also known as "five o'clock shadow".
