Released shortly after Richie's divorce from his second wife, the album featured Richie in collaboration with singers and musicians from different backgrounds. It received mixed reviews, with much of the criticism targeted at the album's lyrics. It sold 207,000 copies and peaked at #22 on the American Billboard 200.

Just for You is a song by American singer Lionel Richie. It was written by Richie, Paul Barry, and Mark Taylor for his seventh studio album Just for You (2004), while production was helmed by the latter along with Jeff Taylor. Later, Richie recorded the song again for his 2012 country album "Tuskegee", with country singer Billy Currington. Richie and Currington also performed the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
