High Note is a Warner Bros. Looney Tunes animated short directed by Chuck Jones. It was originally released on December 3, 1960 and is performed without dialog, relying solely on the animation and music to carry the plot. This short was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Short Film in 1961.

HighNote Records is a jazz record company and label founded by Joe Fields with his son, Barney Fields, in 1997. Joe Fields worked for Prestige Records in the 1960s, and in the 1970s founded Muse Records. After he sold Muse, he started the Highnote and Savant labels with his son, Barney.
