Runaround
"Runaround" is a science fiction short story by Isaac Asimov, featuring his recurring characters Powell and Donovan. It was written in October 1941 and first published in the March 1942 issue of Astounding Science Fiction. It appears in the collections I, Robot, The Complete Robot, and Robot Visions. In common with many of Asimov's Robot stories, the application of the Three Laws of Robotics is the subject, though in contrast to the majority, the robot featured in "Runaround" is actually following the Laws as they were intended. Runaround is notable for featuring the first explicit appearance of the Three Laws of Robotics, which had hitherto only been implied in Asimov's robot stories.
Runaround
Runaround Sue is a pop song, in a modified doo-wop style, originally a US No. 1 hit for the singer Dion during 1961 after he split with the Belmonts. The song ranked No. 351 on the Rolling Stone list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time". It was written by Dion with Ernie Maresca, and tells the story of a disloyal lover. UK singer Doug Sheldons version reached number 36 in the UK charts in 1961.
