Take Me Higher
Take Me Higher is a 1995 studio album by American singer Diana Ross released on the Motown label. Her large fan base embraced it as one of Diana's finest additions to her vast body of work. The album featured production from urban adult contemporary producers such as Narada Michael Walden, Brenda Russell, Jon-John and the Boom Brothers, the latter two coming from Babyface's production company. The album yielded the UK hits "Take Me Higher", "Gone" and her dance cover of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive", which featured Club Mixes done by Steve Rodway of Motiv8 and Grammy Award winning Remixer Hex Hector. The title track "Take Me Higher" hit #1 on the 'Dance' charts and 'Bubbled Under' to #114 Pop in Billboard. But as did the majority of her albums in the 90s, it fared much better in international markets like the U.K. where it debuted at #10 for example. The album was most successful in Europe where it spawned three Top 40 singles. Diana's cover of "I Will Survive" reached #14 in the U.K. The album debuted in the Top 10 in Europe as Diana continued another popularity resurgence from 1990 when "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" hit the top of the charts spawning a double platinum album for "The Force Behind the Power" through the #1 1993 mega-smash quadruple platinum greatest hits audio and video compilation, "One Woman".

Take Me Higher is a 1995 single by Diana Ross. The single is the title track of Diana Ross' nineteenth studio album of her career and was released on the Motown label. "Take Me Higher was written by Sally Jo Dakota, Nikita Germaine, and Narada Michael Walden. The single was also produced by Walden and was Diana Ross' fifth number one on the US dance chart. "Take Me Higher" also went to #77 on the soul singles chart. Overseas, the single went to #32 in the UK.
