equilateral (n)
English Definitions:
equilateral (adj)
a figure whose sides are all equal
equilateral (adj)
having all sides or faces equal
equilateral (Noun)
An equilateral triangle
equilateral (Adjective)
Referring to a polygon all of whose sides are of equal length. Not necessarily a regular polygon since the angles can still differ (a regular polygon would also be equiangular).
Equilateral
In geometry, an equilateral triangle is a triangle in which all three sides have the same length. In the familiar Euclidean geometry, an equilateral triangle is also equiangular; that is, all three internal angles are also congruent to each other and are each 60°. It is also a regular polygon, so it is also referred to as a regular triangle.
