My Place is the a song by American rapper Nelly. It is the lead single from his fourth studio album, Suit (2004). It features Jaheim. It was released as a double A-side with "Flap Your Wings" in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and New Zealand. The song is about inviting a girl over to Nelly's house. It reached number 4 on both the US Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts, and number one in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. The main chorus samples Teddy Pendergrass' "Come Go with Me", and halfway through the song, it has a brief sample of DeBarge's song "I Like It" while the overall song features a sample of Labelle's 1977 hit, "Isn't It a Shame". The female vocals are provided by Kim Johnson.
