Speechless is the ninth studio album from Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman. It was released on June 15, 1999, by Sparrow Records. It has been certified Platinum as of November 27, 2000, by the RIAA. Chapman received the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album and Dove Awards for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year. The album also charted more #1 hits on Christian contemporary radio than any other of Chapman's albums: "The Change," "Fingerprints of God," "The Invitation," "Great Expectations," "Be Still And Know," "Dive," and the title song. The album is considered one of Chapman's greater works by many, and is recognized by many as being one of the best Christian albums of all time. The concert tour in support of "Speechless" featured longtime friend and co-writer Geoff Moore.

Speechless is a song by American singer-songwriter Ciara. The song was written by Ciara, The-Dream, and Tricky Stewart, with the latter two producing the song as well. Taken from her fourth studio album Basic Instinct, the song serves as the second single from the album. It was released in the United States as a digital download on September 7, 2010."Speechless" is a mid-tempo R&B love song, which utilizes synthesized trumpets and horns as a backdrop. The lyrical content of the song centers around the protagonist saying they need more time to confess how perfect their significant other is. The song's accompanying music video, directed by Colin Tilley, features Ciara in a menagerie of scenes. The single had no direct promotion, and reached 76 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
